Within the framework of its social work, Drama Flamenco Sevilla hosted on Sunday, March 23 at 12 noon a flamenco fashion charity parade in support of childhood cancer research. The event featured the participation of designers Serrano Sisters, Juan Manolo, Ana Morón and La Parrala.
The charity parade included four passes, each with six costumes, and was enlivened by the Ballet flamenco by Conchi Rando, who performed between each presentation. In addition, Marta Duarte with Jesus Duarte on the guitar they offered live music –sevillanas to listen to– during the parades.
All funds raised were allocated to the childhood cancer research, for the benefit of the Acaye Foundation. This organization, created in 2019, was born in Dos Hermanas (Seville) in honor of Cayetano Massons, a child who fought tirelessly against leukemia, but died at just twenty months old. His legacy lives on through the foundation, which works to advance the fight against this disease.
