The world of dreams has always been a mystery to human beings, especially those states in which consciousness is in a particular nebula; a blurred border between reality and dreams. Phases that, on the other hand, have been shown to be of great creative fertility for artists.
Eduardo Guerrero returns to the Jerez Festival with the show El manto y su ojo, a plot that revolves around the above. The dancer wakes up one morning with the sensation of having lived an absurd nightmare: he dreamed that the night had ceased to exist. This is where, among other plots, the figure of Las cobijadas de Vejer appears, loaded in the work with a symbolic weight. They and their manual of resistance invite us to look at reality with one eye and our interior with the other.
