The author, Gonzalo Lopez
Gonzalo López Rueda (also known as Gl6ria) is a painter from Jerez de la Frontera. Raised in a family of artists, from a young age he was interested in painting, drawing, design and everything related to the visual culture that surrounds him.
He also considers himself a faithful fan of cante jondo, which leads him to paint portraits of the artists who most interest him. His painting is loose and expressive, avoiding excessive perfection as much as possible. He claims that he does not want to paint, he prefers to transmit, in reference to his admired Juan Moneo Lara, the Cake.
