Fully geared towards the celebration of the 29th edition of the Festival de Jerez, our meetings will bring us closer to its different protagonists, without losing sight of other cultural offerings and the activities of our academy. Here is a schedule of our meetings and interviews:

Wednesday, January 15, 12.00:XNUMX p.m.. Online meeting (pre-recorded) with the dancer Eva La Yerbabuena who will stage his show Yerbagüena (dark bright) on February 22 at the Villamarta Theater in Jerez during the Jerez Festival.

Thursday, January 16, 17.00:XNUMX p.m.. Meeting with the dancer Rafaela Carrasco, who will give us details of his show Creaviva, which he will perform with his company on February 26 at the Villamarta Theater during the Jerez Festival.

Tuesday, January 21, at 12.00:XNUMX p.m. Meeting with the dancer Rocio Garrido, Desplante International Festival Award Cante de las Minas 2023, to present its absolute premiere De_vidas, which will be performed at the Blas Infante Social Center in Jerez on February 23 during the Jerez Festival.

Thursday, January 23, at 12.00:XNUMX p.m. Interview with the singer Matthew Solea to talk about his performance at the 29th Festival de Jerez with which he will celebrate his 50 years of cante. An event that will take place on March 4, during the Jerez Festival, at the Villavicencio Palace of the Alcázar of the city.

Tuesday, January 28, at 12.00:XNUMX p.m.. Interview with the professor and researcher Anthony Count who will talk to us about his latest work “Los cafés cantantes de Granada y otros espacios contemporáneas 1868-1939”. A book that can also be found in our shop Expoflamenco Sherry.

Thursday, January 30, at 12.00:XNUMX p.m. Official presentation of the activity The Tertulias of the Jerez Festival. A new activity that is added this year to the celebration of the great international dance event flamenco. From February 20th to March 8th of the newly started 2025 (school days), these Tertulias of the Jerez Festival will be held, from 13.00:13.30 p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. At the end, a glass of sherry will be offered.

Every Friday (January 17, 24 and 31) our dance Academy Expoflamenco, from 17,30:18,45 p.m. to 18,45:20,00 p.m. (Sevillanas classes) and from XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. (bulerías classes, basic or introductory level). Taught by the teacher Marga FloresRegistration is required to participate in classes, although the first time you come is free and you get to know us, which we look forward to.
