Agenda Space Expoflamenco February 1-15, 2025

We are entering the month that marks the beginning of the Festival de Jerez. An international event for which we have prepared a very extensive display both at our headquarters and in the different stage spaces in which it takes place. Hence, our meetings have a lot to do with the celebration of its 29th edition, of course without forgetting our role in the dissemination of flamenco culture in the world. Here you have a schedule. Tuesday, February 4, at 11.30:XNUMX a.m.: Online interview with the dancer Rafael Ramirez who will offer a national premiere of his show Chronicle of an Event at the 29th Jerez Festival, in tribute to the legacy of Antonio Gades.

Tuesday, February 4th, at 12.00:XNUMX p.m.: Online interview with the dancer Eduardo Guerrero to talk about El Manto y su ojo, a world premiere at the 29th Festival de Jerez. A production that reflects on dreams and mystery.

Thursday, February 6, at 17.00:XNUMX p.m.: Online interview with the singer Moses Vargas, who has just published a CD entitled De la raíz (La Droguería Music)

Wednesday, February 12, at 17.00:XNUMX p.m.: Meeting with the veteran singer José Peña the Moor to present his album 'Cante's from my land'. This activity is in collaboration with the recently created Flamenco Cultural Association Las Cadenas de Jerez who has sponsored the release of the album.

Wednesday, February 12, at 17.30:XNUMX p.m.: Meeting with the flamenco harpist Ana Crisman who will talk to us about the presentation of his album “Arpa Flamenca” at the 29th Festival de Jerez. This is the first album of flamenco harp, an innovative and absolutely original figure within the Universe Flamenco.

Thursday, February 13, at 12.00:XNUMX p.m.: Meeting with the singer Jose of the Shrimps to tell us about his latest projects. Among them, we will talk about and watch his video clip Aventuremos la vida (Estudio La Bodega de Jerez) which is achieving great acceptance by the public.

Thursday, February 13, 18.00:XNUMX p.m.: Participation in the Provincial Days of Flamenco and Education 2025, organized by the Jerez Teachers' Center, in collaboration with the Andalusian Documentation Center of the Flamenco (CADF). This session will feature the presence of our colleague José María Castaño who will accompany the singer Vicente Soto 'Deafness'. Place: Peña Flamenca Uncle José de Paula from Jerez.
