The Manolo Sanlúcar Aura Seguros Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to preserve, disseminate and promote Andalusian culture through flamenco, as a form of cultural expression and to promote the dissemination of the artistic and human legacy of the guitarist Manolo Sanlúcar. Within these founding channels, a museum was built in his homeland to collect the most direct belongings of the maestro and some originals of his own, such as writings, discography, paintings or the famous encyclopedia that he left as an essential testament to our culture.
In the daily life of the museum, built as the Palace of the Andalusian People Manolo Sanlúcar, is his niece-in-law Reyes Rencoret, our guest. She told us about what daily life is like in the museum as well as the many attractions that a visit to Avenida Bajo de Guía number 10 in Sanlúcar de Barrameda has to offer. Very close to the monument to the immortal guitarist and to that mouth of the Guadalquivir so reflected in his valuable compositions.
