ExpoFlamenco booming on the Internet and in the social networks

This flamenco website has become established as one of the leading references in the era of the social networks. It has gathered thousands of followers and it is visited by over five thousand people from over one hundred countries every day.

Back in 2014, Mitch and Jafelin — owners of ExpoFlamenco — travelled from Canada to Seville to present their website project to our dear Manuel Bohórquez. The dream of creating an authoritative website in matters of flamenco from Spain to the world was born. It even has its first brick and mortar store in Jerez.

We provide a virtual space for all flamenco aficionados and their local communities with the goal of sharing and promoting local and global flamenco. The idea was to enable interaction and communication among aficionados, professionals, students and flamenco businesses and organizations with the goal of preserving and promoting the best of flamenco art.

«Just on April 7th there were eight thousand pages seen. In one single day! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!»

An established, authoritative project

Nowadays the website is well-established, and we can proudly say that it is an authoritative reference for flamenco on the internet. In 2020 there have been over two hundred thousand visits in the first three months, with more than six hundred thousand pages seen and a daily average of four or five thousand visits.

As the Covid-19 health crisis intensifies, we have attempted to make the lockdown more bearable by doubling our efforts to try making flamenco more accessible to our followers. The response could not have been better. In the first two weeks of April 2020 we have had over forty thousand visits and seventy thousand pages seen. Just on April 7th there were eight thousand pages seen. In one single day! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

And, since flamenco is global, so are our followers. Although most of our readers are from Spain, visitors from countries like the United States and Mexico are not far behind, showing their passion for this noble art genre. We also have thousands of visitors from our cherished Canada and from Italy, Japan, UK, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Gambia, India and so forth, for a total of one hundred and fourteen different countries.

ExpoFlamenco in the social networks

We live in a global society where social elements are essential for human interaction. We feature news, articles and interviews, but we’re also a community with a focus on flamenco. That’s why we have a strong presence in the social networks. We have active official channels in TwitterInstagramFacebook and YouTube.

We not only have over twenty thousand followers, but also had hundreds of thousands of impressions and interactions in the first three months of 2020. Yet, even more important than quantity is quality. Our followers are as passionate interacting with flamenco as we ourselves are.

In ExpoFlamenco we never stop and we double down our efforts to be near you at every moment. With arte, pellizco and compás. Will you join us?
